ABOUT

Hello! I'm Shaylynn ("Nimiszu"), a student artist from Canada~ 
​I'm currently working to build my skills, experiment, and develop my vision through my work as well as study visual communications. 
Basing my art around fantastical emotions, stories and themes, I enjoy working to create dreamy, imaginary worlds best. Skies, environments, and animals remain strong influences in my work; in sharing my creations composed with these surreal-fantasy and nature-oriented themes, I hope to cultivate my abilities to convey stories and emotions among the treasure trove of inspirations out there.

Digital is my currently preferred medium, although I enjoy working with ballpoint pen, and watercolour as well.

I have been drawing ever since I could pick up a pencil around 3 years old, but I seriously began drawing to improve, as well as work digitally, in late 2013! Besides drawing, I love to play games, papercraft, write, and learn about nature and place in general. In 2017, I started a series of works around a personal Endangered Species focus of mine- that is, depicting animals in dire need of conservation and awareness.
